The Bartlett Family Crest - Bartletts of Pendomer

This web-site traces the ancestors and descendants of Robert Hamilton Bartlett, who was born in Australia in 1878, subsequently his family moved back to the United Kingdom, where he lived his life until dying at the age of 90 in Hove, Sussex.

Robert was very interested in his family ancestry and started researching it in his latter years. This interest was subsequently taken up by two of his sons and one of his daughters: Peter, John and Kathleen. However, it is Peter who spent the greatest amount of effort into this research and who is the author of this work.

Peter, like his other brothers Robert and Frank, chose to live in Australia, where he enjoyed a successful career. On the occasion of their 60th marriage anniversary, Peter and his wife, Gwen, received a large number of congratulatory messages from around the world, including letters from HRH Queen Elizabeth II and the Prime Minister of Australia.

The Bartlett Family web-site and the Ancestry Family Tree has been constructed by Martin Bartlett, son of John and god-son of Peter. Following Peter's death in 2013, Simon Bartlett, a son of Peter's brother, Frank has continued researching the family history as and when he can.
